‘THE WAIT’

    It was a Tamil movie directed by GVM, and Ayush fell in love with the film and the director. He watched that movie many times later again and he became a die-hard fan of GVM. He loved the way the actors acted, the way they loved each other, and the way they ended up together for life. And thus, he started thinking of how his life would be if he found his loved one but all that came in a flash was his promise to his best friend Vasan and he didn’t want to break it. But the fun fact was that it was around that time when Vasan got a crush on the girl, the very same girl that they had bullied and got punished for. Yes, he got a crush on Varshita. So, it was kind of ‘game over’ for Vasan as he broke his promise.
 Vasan also got a crush on Varshita when they were in grade VIII, and this worried Ayush as he was left alone and thoughts that he would remain single forever pestered him. Another fear gnawing deep within him was that he would never get a crush in his school life. Everyone has a school crush. Tell me who doesn’t. Well, Ayush too got one but it wasn’t until he was in 9th grade. And till then, all he did was wait for her.
Vasan started talking with Varshita and started sharing a lot many things to her and one day, he introduced Varshita to Ayush and all three of them became close. For Ayush, Vasan and Varshita were so close and they were his only best friends. Thus, he wrote a poem for them on friendship day.
The poem was loved by many and many did become his fans too for it. The poem goes this way;

“We met accidentally
but now when we now ride our bike,
we would even die for each other accidentally.
We laughed for silly jokes,
And cried for small issues.
We spent half of our lives caring and sharing,
And we won’t waste our lives fighting,
But we will surely fight anyone.
who says something wrong about us?
For you guys are my life. <3”

After saying this poem, most of his classmates started calling him the next Shakespeare, and thus, Ayush started writing many poems and went for many competitions. And of course, as it goes without saying, he got awards. By the time Ayush completed grade VIII, he wrote around 15 poems.
One day Vasan asked Ayush a rhyming word to propose Varshita and that line worked and Vasan and Varshita became couples, but Ayush was still single. Ayush went to school after completing the summer holidays and entered a devilish world, where people always said that if you didn’t get good marks in board exams, your life would be spoiled and on the first day of grade IX Ayush parents said only this 4 years Ayush your life will be good.
 On the first day itself, Ayush and Vasan went late to school and a new teacher was sitting in teacher desk and shouted at Ayush and Vasan that they were late after sometimes everyone’s favorite subject social science period started and that teacher was still in class and asked students to take out the history book and yes she was a social teacher for them. Her name was Revathy, the most favorite teacher who didn’t put marks for them and was strict but Ayush had a good idea about her but still he hates her.
Suddenly one day Ayush got a call from Vasan that a gang of people bullied him and he was fought with them because of which, his leg got injured and he was in the hospital, Ayush said he will be there in 10 minutes, but Vasan said that Varshita was coming, so he needs sometimes to speak with her, Ayush got angry on Vasan and he said “Just be with Varshita I don’t want to disturb you Vasan, I’m not important for you and sorry I don’t want to speak with you anymore” and Ayush didn’t speak with Vasan for the time being.
They became got back together as their fight ended in class X on Ayush’s birthday. Vasan cried and said “Everyone needs a best friend Ayush and for me it’s you and I don’t want to leave you please forgive me, love is important but friendship is more important” and they became friends but not that close like in their childhood.
 Their board exam result came and everyone got good marks. Ayush was confused about which group he should take. Vasan took computer science and said to Ayush that in computer science, there would be a lot of beautiful girls and Ayush also did believe so but unluckily that year, in the bio group all beautiful girls were there and Ayush felt that he shouldn’t believe Vasan, because of him he had to stay in a class where only one girl was there.
 One year passed and Ayush didn’t find his first love and he was upset that school love didn’t come in his life. He entered grade XII but no one was there in school. A sound was coming from his house. Ayush’s mom told him that a family is coming to live for rent tomorrow, Ayush was very happy.
 Suddenly a girl's voice came from nearby, Ayush was excited and he eagerly waited to see that girl, but she didn’t come, but his inner thoughts were that “any way we are going to see her one day so he went off”.
